Light and Dark

“Light and Dark” consists of 10 images. ⁠They were shot on November 7, 2020 and edited over the course of a year.

Playing with a combination of long exposure and deliberate, controlled movement, and combining the lightscapes with other images, resulted in contemplative pieces that straddle the abstract and the concrete. A visual representation of a memory of either future or past. Frozen, but as time moves on in either direction, more and more obscured by a cloud of possible variations of the memory.

Tinged with melancholy and the sense of a force more significant and powerful than human consciousness, we succumb to time, light and dark.
