Lecture
For a local filmcompetition in Lux, Nijmegen I was asked to give a lecture on indie filmmaking. The theme of the competition was the future of Nijmegen and the planned artificial island in the river to the north of the city. I’d chosen a very practical approach, since most of the attendees were novices. I called it “Filmmaking for dummies”.
It covers everything from cameras to framing, direction to casting, from editing to promotion. I had 20 mins. to cover it all, so it’s not really in depth, but it’s a useful overview of the basics.
