Thiemeloods
During the entire month of August some of my photography can be seen at the Thiemeloods (Leemptstraat 34) in Nijmegen.
The Thiemeloods is a place where you can relax, chill out, read a book and listen to some vinyl. My friend Remy, who runs the place, is a self-styled cultural entrepreneur who likes to showcase art by local artists. The Loods is a place where (nearly) everything goes: there are events such as discussion panels on societal topics, musical / theatre performances and dance nights. You can get a great bite to eat and have a drink. The loods is situated across from a lovely little park and there are some chairs out front if you like sitting in the sun.
Nijmegen
I’m honored to be one of the first artists to have his work exhibited in the Thiemeloods, especially since it is located in the heart of my hometown. To have my work seen in such a lovely environment by my fellow Nijmegenaren is very rewarding! So I’d like to thank Remy (and Sanne who does publicity) for this opportunity and would like to invite all of my readers to come have a look during August! If you can’t make it, don’t worry, there’s a bigger exhibition of my work at Kasteel Daelenbroeck in September! More info on that soon! 🙂
For sale
If you happen to see a photo that you like SO much you just have to have it, well good news! 🙂 You can buy it directly at the counter in the Thiemeloods itself. Also, on one of the tables you’ll find a copy of my new photobook “The Island”, which can be ordered directly online here, or at the counter.
