Music is essential to me. Starting out in my teens playing guitar, with friends in a band, I became more and more interested in experimenting, using effects and “abusing” instruments.

In the mid 90’s, I started an experimental industrial-electronic band called IndusTree together with a friend, performing our music in elaborate theatrical shows. Since 2005 I have been producing music solo. 

I produce music under the monikers CausaliDox, sonOnos, TriggerRat and Bob Knutton. Over the last couple of decades, I have been releasing my music on a number of labels, including Kahvi Collective, Diffuse Reality (and their sublabels Periphylla and Teorema), Shipwrec and Kaos Ex Machina.

Somebody once said my music sounds like soundtracks for future fairytales, I like that.
